Also, in the slides below, the two VA-34 patches were sent to Lee and scanned. Submitted by Steven Russell ( AME3 ) VA-34, USN 1984-88. The first is the VA-34 squadron patch, and the second patch is from the 1986 cruise in which VA-34 was the first A-6 squadron to successfully fire a Harpoon missle in combat against a Libyan patrol boat while deployed aboard America.
